What a lovely day!

I have had an awesome day today! I went to my friend's house and hung out with them at a greek restraurant called Athena's which was awesome! I had a gyro sandwich which is lamb and it was sooooo good! If anyone lives in Shreveport, LA you need to try it! My friends enjoyed some hookah there as well. They got Pirate's Cove? or Cave? Something like that and they seemed to like it so I'll recommend that as well! We ended up spending like 2 and a half hours there though the last hour was somewhat because our waitress got a little slow on us. I still left her a generous tip though! After that we went to my best friend's boyfriend's studio (mouth full!). He worked out.. haha and we just lounged around! I have to say he has a pretty nice little set up there. After that we went back to her house and I got super tired and went home like a lameo!

It was so good y'all I couldn't believe it! Probably so bad for you though! Eeek! Oh well. Well thats all for today! Can't till my sister comes home and returns my camera! I miss it! She is home but she often stays away from the house. Wahhh! Soon though! My iPhone is doing a pretty good job though. Well good night chums! Lazy, lazy day.

Happy Memorial Day? I'm not sure if you say happy in front of that but regardless I hope everyone enjoys their day today and appreciate our armed forces! I've been laying around all day. I'll probably do some laundry in a minute and then work on the painting I'm making for my boyfriend. I'm pretty amateur but I think I'm alright. Here's some somewhat recent pictures of it!

I'm such a goon sometimes.

I swear.. I totally forgot to put a picture of myself up last night! I'm sure some of you want to see what I look like because well if you're like me you probably don't want to read too much on a blog about someone who doesn't look like you would have much in common with. Not saying you SHOULD do that but we all do it! Drum roll pleaseeeeee.....

That's lil ol me!

Now before you assume what I am I can tell you, you will never guess right! I am not latina, or native american, or mexican, or any dark haired nationality. Nope, I am pretty much full on German to the core. My dad is pretty much "full" German and my mom is part so I'm pretty close to 100 percent there. I look just like my dad and we both look nothing like the blonde hair, blue eye stereotype Germans have. Neither does his dad. Well actually I found out today he (my Grandpa) was born in Russia.. so maybe I'm part Russian.. hmm. Well I'm a mutt like everyone else so oh well! Anywayssss, I have dark brown hair and I recently dyed the ends blonde for that ombre look. I know I'm a trend follower but I've been looking for something to do to my hair besides dye it burgundy or auburn but still keeping it brown and this just looked so pretty!! I like it and will probably put more recent pictures up soon. I have hazel eyes and yes they really are hazel! They have green in them and that's not just me being in denial about brown eyes. Brown eyes are beautiful! But mine are light brown and green. Actually they're reddish brown around the pupil, yellow in the center, and green around the outside but you'd have to look close to see it. My boyfriend has the same color almost! Just a little darker. I'm pale right now but hopefully I'll get a little darker since it's summer time! 

On another note today was a beautifully hot day! I spent it at my grandma's house with two of my aunts, my mom and dad, my other grandma (I call her Neenee), my cute cousin Ava who I think will be 3 in July? Don't quote me on that, and Adam (my boyfriend)! It was lovely. We had hotdogs and hamburgers among other delicious side dishes. Soon I'll be posting pictures once I get my camera back! It's with my sister in Pensacola! She's there on vacation and will return tomorrow! So I'll finally get to use that thing for something! Thank goodness because I was beginning to regret buying it. 

Please leave words of encouragement and advice! I'd appreciate anything and let me know what I can improve on and what I should change! I'm off to pick up Adam! silly boy sold his car and I have to pick him up if I want to see him. Toodle loo!

Love them so much its crazy! Kodi is a tabby and calico mix. Abbey is pure Golden Retriever. Callie is a basset hound and probably golden retriever mix. What do you guys think!? Pretty good looking huh? Show me your animals!

First post! Oh my!

Hello everyone! I've never blogged before so I may be bad at it but oh well a girl can try! Let's see.. I guess I should start by telling you a little about myself and what I'll be doing on here. So you might have figured out my name is Tara. Middle name Jade. Last name.. well I'm sure its easy to find but we'll leave it a secret for the moment. As of today I am 19 years of age. I live in Louisiana, but I live in the northwest portion so don't think I'm living in the bayou and swimming in swamps! Now don't get me wrong I do enjoy my Louisiana culture and will chow down on some crawfish any day! I have a wonderful boyfriend named Adam. He is the lovely age of 21 and the best thing ever. I have two dogs, Abbey Road and Callie, and one cat, Kodiak (Kodi for short). They are my babies. I treat them like my children. Probably better than I would treat my children. I'm sure I post pictures of them eventually in another post. I'm working right now because I decided to take some me time this summer. It has been GREAT! Best few months I've ever had. Except for the being broke part. But what better time to do something like this than now! So let's get down to stuff I'll be writing about. Pretty much anything. This will be a blog about my life, opinions, projects, clothes, pretty thangs, basically anything my little heart desires and I am super excited about it! As time goes on I'll share so much about myself and I hope to learn about others and many even make some BFFs! (Blogger Friends Forever aweeee) I'm just so excited (can you tell?) I'll probably post some more tonight!
